Newer Projects

So, after a long pause in my posts...again, here are a few newer projects. I started sewing this past winter and am in love with making fun useful stuff. Hopefully my vintage sewing machine gets fixed soon and I can start back up!

Been gone for too long!

Okay, I gave up on this for a while. But, in my defense, I was in the process of starting my new job as a hand therapist and have been busier painting and bookbinding than anything else in my spare time. New photos soon to come as I have a phenomenal commission to assist a Chicago guy in proposing to his girlfriend with my painting in a River North gallery space. Too cool!!! I hope the gallery owner likes my work...who knows what might come of it!!!

Fall knits

Autumn is always an inspiration to me. With the crisp smells and sounds (think leaves crunching beneath your feet), cool temperatures, and warm colors, it is a great time to get inspiration for new projects. Lately I am knitting alpaca and lambswool scarves in simple patterns using delicate fall-inspired hues.
